  run the 27 to keep from over revving the motor. This is my  
  3rd Xpress and I will never buy anything else."

            Optimax "Boat has a great holeshot. Ride is as good as any other 19'  
  glass boat.  I have not broken the motor in yet. It should gps  
  around 75 mph. I have been very pleased with the boat.   
  I have had a few problems with the trailer. It is aluminum and  
  it floats when backed into the water. The front roller only has  
  2" clearance between the bottom of the roller and the plate  
  support. This makes it impossible to unhook the boat out of   
  the water. The hook is 3" long. You have to back the boat  
  into the water and then you can unhook it. This is extremely  
  frustrating. One of the trailer guards on the side was broke  
  when I bought the boat. It rattled all the way home and it   
  took me two weeks to figure out what was rattling."

               Jet "This is a bassboat of a different sort. Made for running the  
  shallow rocky rivers in the Mid-Atlantic states for big  
  smallmouths. Hence the big trolling motor on such a small  
  boat. It can run in as shallow as 12" over gravel/rock bottom  
  safely, and does it all the time. Not fast, but goes where  
  regular bassboats can't."

  "Just got the new hull last fall (had a 2000 before). Seems to   
  be a little faster than the old boat but I haven't had much seat  
  time yet in the new hull.  I will GPS it this spring.  I like the   
  new graphics and the carpet fits better than the old boat.  The   
  trailer is a lot nicer too, disc brakes and oversized wheel on   
  jack.  Also it has a nicer winch and I like the tube frame.  
  I did have to do a little re-rigging, wires were kind of a mess  
  and didn't like the new livewell system (only one pump).    
  I also added some touches of my own, recessed cleats and
